London – 10 November 2025 – Priority from O2 – the award-winning reward programme available for free to all O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers – has unveiled new research showing that 40% of Brits have sent a Christmas card featuring a family photo, and more than seven million of us (13% of the population) are doing so every year. In response, O2 is rewarding Brits with another brand new, once-in-a-lifetime experience this festive season: the chance to have their own family portrait taken by world-renowned celebrity photographer, Josh Shinner.
Josh Shinner is celebrated for his authentic portraiture in the fashion and lifestyle worlds. Beyond his high-profile commercial and client work – including frequent collaborations with celebrities, such as Florence Pugh, TRH The Prince & Princess of Wales and Andrew Scott – Shinner’s personal projects often incorporate unique hand-collaged elements, with some of his prints even having been acquired by the National Portrait Gallery.
As part of the Priority Christmas portrait experience, Shinner will visit three locations around the UK – Glasgow, Manchester and London – to capture a selection of families this December and give them a memory to last a lifetime.

The new research from O2 also reveals that 41% of Brits say they do not get to spend enough time with family at Christmas.

The reward will be made available via a ballot, opening for entries on Monday 10 November 2025 and closing on 24 November 2025, with successful applicants being drawn at random. The Priority photoshoot experience will then visit the following cities on the below dates in 2025:
