O2 and Facebook® Deals check in together

Have you checked into your nearest O2 store on Facebook Places? From today there’ll be an extra reason to check in when you drop in to O2 – 10% off all accessories and gaming products!

We know a lot of our 3m iPhone customers love checking Facebook on the go and letting friends know what’s going on. And since Facebook Places launched it’s been even easier to share where you are, find friends who are nearby, discover new places, and now, take advantage of special Deals by checking in.

We’re really excited to be part of the launch of Facebook Deals in the UK. It will mean when you check in at one of our stores you’ll then get 10% off all our accessories – anything from an Angry Bird case, to a Bluetooth Headset or a 4 Gb memory card. We’re also running a special one-off this Saturday (5 February) – the first people to check in when buying a new Pay Monthly contract or upgrading at any of the stores below will get a free Xbox 360 or Playstation 3!

We believe we’re better, connected, and Facebook is a great way for O2 to get even closer to our customers. On our page (www.facebook.com/o2uk) you’ll find us chatting to our 180,000 fans directly about what they love, need and what they’re doing – join us and you’ll get all of this plus some special discounts too.

To take advantage of our great launch deal, check in on your mobile browser on www.facebook.com or the latest version of the Facebook app. When you enter one of our stores just ‘check in’ on your mobile and then show your screen at the till when you make your purchase. All of our stores will be participating in our 10% discount on accessories and gaming products from today onwards – the list of stores giving away Xbox 360s and Playstation 3s are below.
