Great news for Dell Streak owners on O2 – we’ve started the rollout of Android 2.2, also known as Froyo. Froyo brings some fantastic improvements to your Streak – read on for what’s coming and how to update.
We’ve been hard at work with our friends at Dell to bring Android 2.2 to our Streak customers and are happy to say it’s all ready to go. We’re gradually making the update available from today onwards – to check if it’s available for your Streak, head to Settings > About Phone > System Updates. If it’s not available yet don’t worry, it will be soon!
Here’s what Froyo brings to the Streak:
- Adobe Flash 10.1
- Native Microsoft Exchange Support
- Pre-loaded Swype keyboard app
- New Dell Stage user interface
- Backup & Restore app
- Numerous system optimisations and updates
