Today’s the day we in the Telefónica family release our financial results and we’re happy to say it’s been a great nine months in some very tough times.

As of September 2009, we had 21 million mobile customers in the UK – up 5.7% year on year. That’s enough to fill 233 Wembley Stadiums or The O2 Arena 913 times! Between them, these 21 million mobile customers spent 39,680,000,000 minutes on the phone – if one person made all those calls it’d take them more than 75,000 years.

Meanwhile, O2 Broadband now has 527,126 customers, a huge increase from last year. Don’t worry if you’re not on O2 Broadband at the moment though – if you join us before 30 November you can get your first three months free. Head to our broadband site to find out more.
