Whether your mum’s always misplacing her charger or you want to be as green as you can be, we’ve got something right up your street. It’s called the O2 Universal Charger, it’s on sale now and it may just be the last charger you need to buy.

We’ve called it the O2 Universal Charger for a reason. Thanks to its swappable leads it’ll charge most leading brands of phones – Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson – and soon there will be leads to charge your BlackBerry and iPhone too.

As well as cutting down on the amount of chargers you need, it’ll also cut down on your energy use too, by as much as 70% over standard chargers. That’s thanks to its power control system – once your battery’s fully charged it’ll cut power even if plugged in to a socket that’s still switched on.

The O2 Universal Charger’s on sale with one lead now at £14.99 with extra cables costing £4.99. Meanwhile, people buying an O2 handset before 31 January can get the charger at a special discount price of £7.99.
