  • New 12 month packages offer greater choice on data bundles

O2 today unveils its overhauled Simplicity range of tariffs, aimed at those customers who are happy with their phone and just need a SIM card. The tariffs, available in either rolling 30 day packages or as 12 month contracts, offer customers a broad choice bundles at lower than ever prices, including 4G data for just £11 a month.

“Our Simplicity tariffs are perfect for people who are happy with their phone but still want to get a great value deal,” said Phil Maple, General Manager Consumer at O2. “As well as having complete flexibility over their tariff, customers on Simplicity packages can now use 4G for as little as £11 a month and also get all the great benefits of being on O2, including Priority.”

Low price, high flexibility

O2 has reworked six of its 30 day Simplicity tariffs. Aimed at people looking to dip a toe in the ocean of 4G or move between tariffs each month, the 4G tariffs start at just £15 for 500MB of data, unlimited texts and 500 minutes of calls per month – £3 less per month than before. Those still looking for ultimate flexibility but with more data can choose as much as 5GB, as well as unlimited minutes and unlimited texts for £27 a month – a saving of £3 a month.

12 months of great value

Meanwhile, those happy to commit for 12 months get even more value with three updated tariffs and two brand new ones. These include being able to choose O2’s cheapest ever 4G tariff with 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data for just £11 a month, down from £14 per month. At the other end of the scale, data hungry customers can now

choose unlimited minutes, texts and either 3GB or 6GB of data for £20 and £25 per month respectively. Those looking for even more data can opt for O2’s existing tariff offering 8GB of data, unlimited minutes and unlimited texts for £30 per month.

Whichever tariff customers choose, they will also have access to O2 Priority, the UK’s largest digital loyalty scheme which offers hundreds of high street discounts, priority gig tickets and now the £1 Lunch, a discounted lunch offer available at a range of stores every Monday.

Customers looking to use 4G need to have a 4G capable phone, a 4G tariff and SIM card and they need to be in a 4G coverage area. For more information on the tariffs and to join, visit www.o2.co.uk/simplicity.
