Hi! Here's what I've been up to for the last few days.

Saturday 18th: Today we held a big fiesta in the CBA college for the children of Saraguro school and CBA college. My Ecuadorian colleague had managed to arrange a DJ and all the food for the children. It was a very successful day, lots of music, food and games for all including the teachers and parents, it also turned out to be the hottest day here so far. It went on until late afternoon with the older children, they were teaching us how to Salsa and dance to their ´regatone´ music.

Sunday 19th: Today it was all hands on. We were painting the Saraguro school. So many of the parents turned up to help, again another successful day. We painted the inside and outside of all the classrooms as well as tidied up the school surroundings, it was a nice atmosphere with more music and more dancing. The people of Tenguel are very passionate about their music and dancing.

Tuesday 21st – back to work today after having a day off yesterday – my colleagues and I were ill after eating some not so very good food on Sunday afternoon. Today we were working on the theatre play we are planning to present on Friday with the Saraguro children and will help the CBA children finish all of their articles.
