Today, we’ve announced an exciting new partnership to provide O2 Wifi in Debenhams stores across the UK, taking shopping in-store to a new level, combining it perfectly with an online shopping experience.
Customers visiting all 167 Debenhams stores across the country will have access to fast, reliable and completely free O2 Wifi, no matter which mobile provider they’re with.
One real benefit of this will be the ability to access the already-popular Debenhams app, even when you’re in an area of variable mobile coverage, or deep inside a shopping centre where the signal’s not great.
With the app, you can scan a product’s barcode or search by description for whatever you’re after. Once you’ve found your product, you can view a full description and check in-store availability for all sizes and colours.
You can view information about the manufacturer and, if you can’t lay your hands on that perfect item in-store, you can order one instantly for home delivery. You can even share a picture with your friends via Facebook, Twitter or email, to get real-time ‘suits you!’ input from the people who know you best. It’s like having an army of personal shoppers who know you best, right by your side.
It’s also pretty useful for those dutiful other-halves sitting outside the dressing room, who can surf the web, catch up on their social circles or check emails whilst waiting to give the occasional ‘Looks lovely, darling.’
