England are ready, are you?

Lock up your leeks as O2 prepares to find rugby fans to mark the start of the RBS 6 Nations Championship! Proud sponsors of England Rugby, O2, has further extended its support of the national side with five tongue in cheek viral clips, one for each opponent country, which see England players indulging in some pre-match psyching up like never before.   England vs Wales To kick off, England star Steve Thompson (Northampton Saints) is seen holding a leek close to his face…staring out the Welsh symbol with zen-like concentration. Laying the vegetable down gently, he steels his resolve and with the hands of a skilled chef expertly chops the leek into small pieces. He’s psyched and ready to win!   The clip goes live on Wednesday 25th January 2006   Steve Thompson comments, “The RBS 6 Nations always stirs up competition in Europe and it was a bit of a laugh doing the clips. We are training hard for the first match against Wales and hope the fans are too.”   The five viral clips, designed by archibald ingall stretton, will continue throughout the tournament, released one week prior to each England game.
