O2 has become the only UK network to launch a free screen replacement for customers buying the latest handsets from 8 September 2017.

The new service will mean customers who drop their prized handsets will be able to get the screen replaced once during the 24 months of their contract – ensuring they keep that ‘new phone feeling’ even if they accidentally damage the screen.

Free screen replacements are available exclusively from O2 for the latest handsets on selected tariffs*. The launch comes as research commissioned by O2 has revealed that up to 51% of smartphone owners across the UK have cracked the screen of their handset at least once – and that up to 7.5 million people in the UK have a phone with a screen in need of TLC at any given time.

To make their replacement claim customers simply need to call Pay Monthly customer service. The next day courier service will collect the handset with the cracked screen and provide a replacement device, ensuring pain free screen replacements.
