Free wifi? Thanks a latté!

Ask someone their first thought when you say ‘free wifi’ and the chances are, they’ll reply ‘coffee shop’. That’s why we’re proud to announce our new partnership to provide Costa, the largest coffee shop chain in the UK, with O2 Wifi.

Our fast, reliable and completely free wifi service is already hitting Costa stores in London ahead of this summer’s festivities and, throughout 2012, we’ll be installing O2 Wifi in stores across the country.

Soon, Costa’s 14 million monthly customers will be able to ‘espresso’ themselves on Facebook or Twitter, check who’s ‘bean’ emailing them, or just surf the internet and relax after the daily ‘grind’, whilst enjoying one of the 700 cups of coffee served up by the chain every minute.

Getting online with O2 Wifi is as quick as a ‘shot’ (okay, we’ll stop with the puns now) – you’ll only need to sign up once. After that, you’ll be able to use O2 Wifi wherever it’s available through our various partnerships across the country. It’s also fast and reliable, because we only use premium public hotspots, as opposed to residential connections with limited bandwidth.

This is the latest in a string of partnership announcements for O2 Wifi, which will soon be available in places like Harvester pubs, House of Fraser and even on the streets of Central London, thanks to a groundbreaking partnership with two London councils to create Europe’s largest free wireless hub.
