This week, on Wednesday and Thursday, O2 will be attending Rail Live 2014 organised by Network Rail. We will be showcasing a range of digital products including Mobile CCTV, Cellular WAN, Smart Steps and a Digital Counting Solution. Some of these tools are already at work within the rail industry to improve the passenger experience, streamline services and provide invaluable insights into customer demographics.
Connectivity underpins any digital demonstration so 4G and wifi access will be provided by O2 at various locations around the site to help our team and visitors stay connected. We will also be welcoming external providers onto the O2 stand including Arkessa, Asavie Technologies and Tech 21 demonstrating how a collaborative approach and utilisation of state-of-the-art technology can strengthen services across the rail network.
The event provides a fantastic opportunity for various providers to showcase their capabilities and explore the possibilities of what can be achieved in the future of transport. If you are planning to attend we would love to see you or let us know what you think by tweeting @RailLive2014 and using the hashtag #o2passenger.
