Galvanising fans to #WearTheRose and support England Women
O2, proud partner of England Rugby, today announced a new ATL campaign in support of the England Women’s Rugby Team, as they look to defend their world title this summer.
Launching on Monday 7th August, the campaign leads with an explosive film showcasing the finest moments of the Red Roses to demonstrate the power, passion and commitment that goes into the women’s game. The film will be available on O2 Sports’ social channels and across both broadcast and programmatic video-on-demand services including Sky, ITV and All 4.
Throughout the tournament, O2 will be encouraging fans to pledge their support to England Rugby using #WearTheRose across print, OOH and social channels to spur the team onto victory.

Elsewhere on social, O2 will be activating influencers, ex-players and its super fan network known as the Rose Army to share exclusive content and money can’t buy prizes to inspire even more fans to get behind the team.
O2 customers will also be able to access rugby themed rewards via O2’s Priority app to add to their viewing experience at home or in the office. Fans can also turn inspiration into action with free O2 Touch sessions nationwide.
O2 and England Rugby’s behind the scenes series, O2 Inside Line will run throughout the tournament, giving fans exclusive access to the camp alongside profile features on the players.
