We’ve announced our financial results today and the great news is we’ve now got over 20.8m customers – enough to fill The O2 and all our O2 Academy venues more than 400 times!

We can report that over the last three months we’ve really outperformed the market. 141,753 customers joined us, which is more double the amount that joined us over the same period last year. We’ve also seen the amount of customers on Pay Monthly increase, with 42.6% of all our customers now choosing one of our Pay Monthly tariffs like Simplicity or one of our Business tariffs. Meanwhile our Pay & Go customers are still going strong thanks to great offers like Unlimited and Top Up Surprises.

O2 Home Broadband has also had a great few months, with more than 63,618 people joining us and bringing our total fixed broadband customer base to 404,484.

Finally, we can report that in the first three months of the year our customers spent over 12,798 million minutes on the phone. If this was just one person, it would take them nearly 25,000 years of constant talking to match that many minutes. That’s one sore throat!
