O2 launches new app to help rugby fans Get Up For England

O2 today announces the launch of the O2 Wake Up Call app in support of its Get Up For England campaign. Designed to help with the early morning starts faced by UK fans when Martin Johnson’s men travel to New Zealand, the O2 Wake Up Call app lets fans choose a free England rugby wake up message.

England kick off times are pre-programmed into the O2 Wake Up Call app allowing fans to determine when they would like to receive their wake up call on match days. Fans will also be able to choose to receive their wake up message from either England Team Coach Martin Johnson or England players Lewis Moody, Chris Ashton, Ben Foden and Nick Easter. Available free to all iPhone and Android users, the O2 Wake Up Call app will also feature video content filmed inside the England camp in New Zealand to help bring fans closer to the action.

The O2 Wake Up Call app is the part of O2’s Get Up For England campaign aimed at helping fans show their support for the England Team. In addition to the app O2 will also be delivering up to 90,000 England Rugby Breakfast Packs for customers to enjoy from the comfort of their sofa*. Following the tradition of a free pie and a pint for O2 customers at Twickenham, the packs contain specially created Pieminister Breakfast Pies, Greene King IPA beers, an England flag and a message from the team.

The free O2 Wake Up Call app is available to download now from the Apple App Store and Android Market.

Fans on O2 can be in with a chance of getting their hands on an England Rugby Breakfast Pack by texting PIE to 2020. England fans showing their support for the team at www.GetUpForEngland.co.uk will also automatically be entered into a draw for the chance to win a once in a lifetime trip for 4 to New Zealand to have breakfast with England players.
