Our latest O2 Tracks One to Watch is 25-year-old singer-songwriter, Luke Sital-Singh.

The London born star’s journey started in 2012, when his debut EP Fail for You reached number three on the iTunes singer-songwriter chart. The title song from the album even caught the attention across the Atlantic when hit US drama Grey’s Anatomy used it in one of their shows.

Since then he hasn’t looked back, releasing a duo of rip-roaring EPs, Old Flint and Tornadoes last year, catapulting him towards stardom.

Love Bon Iver and Damien Rice? Then Luke’s mellow flow will be right up your alley. Influenced by childhood heroes Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young, Singh grew up embracing musical instruments and his undeniable talent has seen him tour with the likes of Kodaline, Martha Wainwright and Villagers.

Already lauded on the BBC Sound of 2014 long list, Singh plans to release his debut album later this year. He says ‘Good music should lock your feet and jaw to the floor’ and if his EP’s are anything to go by you better be wearing a chinstrap when his album hits the airwaves.

Check out an exclusive interview and listen to his new material in the latest appcast, now available on O2 Tracks. Not got O2 Tracks yet?  Text TRACKS to 61202 to get started.
