The O2 X Awards are go!

We’ve launched the O2 X Awards 2009 and we’re looking for the best British entrepreneurs and small businesses in the UK. Could that be you?

This is the sixth year we’ve run the O2 X Awards and we’re on the lookout again for those people who are leading the way in UK small business. Up for grabs are three £5,000 prize packages as well as the chance to get some expert advice and network with other businesses at our regional forums throughout the summer.

There are three categories this year with the overall winner of each one walking away with £5,000:

• O2 X Male Entrepreneur of the Year
• O2 X Female Entrepreneur of the Year
• O2 X Young Entrepreneur of the Year (Under 25)

It doesn’t matter what your business does – as long as it’s in the UK and you’ve got between 1 and 50 employees, we’d like to hear from you. You can register now at our O2 X Awards website.

Once you’ve registered, you’ll then be invited to one of our regional O2 X Awards events. These will give you more information on the O2 X Awards as well as the chance to hear from small business experts and network with your peers. Here’s when the events are being held:

• Glasgow – Thursday 11 June 2009
• Newcastle – Thursday 18 June 2009
• London – Tuesday 23 June 2009
• Liverpool – Wednesday 1 July 2009
• Bristol – Thursday 9 July 2009
• Birmingham – Monday 13th July 2009

The best businesses from each of these events will then go on to our O2 X Awards National Final in London in October – good luck!
