Phil Jordan joins O2 as UK CIO

Phil Jordan has joined O2 in the new role of Chief Information Officer, reporting to Derek McManus, UK CTO.

He comes from a background of IT leadership in Telecommunications, Financial and Industrial Gas industries.

Prior to joining O2, Phil worked for Vodafone for 12 years, most recently in the role of regional CIO for the UK and Ireland. His previous roles spanned Product Development and IT, with both regional and international accountability.

At O2, Phil has end to end responsibility for Information Technology in the UK and operates as part of the leadership team for IT transformation in Telefonica globally.
