Bin those January Blues by slipping on your dancing shoes and heading to watch some of the hottest acts performing across our O2 Academy venues throughout February.

John Newman rose to prominence last year with the smash hit ‘Love Me Again’ and his debut album ‘Tribute’ topped the UK charts in 2013. Catch the Yorkshire lad live in Newcastle (1), Glasgow (3), Leeds (4) and Sheffield (10).

Electronic pop band London Grammar will be lighting up Liverpool (7), Sheffield (8), Leeds (12), Bournemouth (15), Birmingham (16) and Bristol (17) in February. The trio released their critically acclaimed debut album ‘If You Wait’ a few months ago. It’s rather good. As is their cover of Kavinsky’s Night Call.

Have you seen the ginger-dread man? Yeah, it’s Newton Faulkner and he’s playing in Newcastle (13), Leeds (15), Liverpool (16), Birmingham (20) and Bournemouth (26) in February. The 28 year-old singer’s most recent album, ‘Studio Zoo’, saw him make history as he live-streamed the entire recording process 24/7 from his home studio. What a guy.

Love trumpets? Then you’ll be pumped to hear that Brighton boys Rizzle Kicks, are bringing their infectious beats to Sheffield (9), Glasgow (14), Liverpool (15), Newcastle (16), Birmingham (22), Bournemouth (24) and Leeds (28) in February. The platinum-selling pair behind the chart topping ‘Mama do the Hump’ released their second studio album ‘Roaring 20’s’ in 2013. Skip to the good bit by bagging yourself a ticket now.

And finally, LA girl group Warpaint are rocking their way to Leeds (19), Liverpool (20) and Bristol (21) next month. After the success of their debut record ‘The Fool’, their self-titled second album gets released on January 20. Broody, dark, grungy and brilliant. Check them out.
