Windows 7, Microsoft’s latest operating system, has been out on the shelves for a few days now – have you tried it?
According to W3Counter, in September 2009 various editions of Microsoft’s Windows were powering more than 85% of computers. The newest version, Windows 7, had 2.05% at the time – a statistic that’s probably gone up a lot since it officially launched on 22 October.
We’ve been reading some of the reviews across the web and the initial reports look pretty positive – Gizmodo has pulled together links to 27 reviews here, including sites like PC Mag, the Wall Street Journal and Hexus. Here’s a couple of snippets from their roundup:
