‘Get on the Plane’ Prize Draw – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern this Prize Draw. Participation and/or claim instructions form part of the Terms which you will be deemed to have accepted if you participate. Please read the following Terms carefully and keep a copy for your information.

Key Terms:

• Closing Date: The end date to enter the Prize Draw is 11.59PM on 13/04/2025.
• Entry mechanic: Customers are required to like the relevant O2 social media post and add a comment answering the question: “Why this is the year you’re choosing to live more spontaneously?”.
• Draw Date: 14/04/2025.
• Prize: A trip to a European destination between 23 April – 26th April 2025. Flights to and from London Stansted Airport to the European destination to be revealed, subject to travel times available at the time of booking. Transfers to and from the airport to the allocated accommodation are included. Accommodation at the destination for the duration of the trip including breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
• Two (2) winners will be selected from all eligible entries to receive the Prize.
• There will be 1 prize in total.
• All participants must have a valid passport (to be valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay) and appropriate visa (if necessary) allowing them to travel to a destination in Europe on the stipulated dates. O2 will not be responsible for any failure of a participant to ensure their passport and visa is properly checked and O2 reserves the right to choose an alternative winner in the event they are unable to travel.

1. This Prize Draw is open to anyone who is aged 18 or over and UK residents, but excluding employees of O2, or any of its subsidiary companies, their families, agents or anyone else connected with this promotion. No third party entries, bulk entries or entries submitted by agents will be accepted. O2 reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.  O2 may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for the purpose of verifying the eligibility of an entry and the prize may be withheld until and unless O2 is satisfied with the verification.
2. Only one entry per person and per mobile phone number (if applicable) is allowed. Entries not complying with these Terms will be invalid.
3. The Prize Drawn runs until the specified Closing Date. Entries received after this date and time will not be entered into the Prize Draw.
4. The instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the Terms of this Prize Draw, and in the event of a conflict, these Terms take precedence.
5. The winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. Each winner (as applicable) will be notified by O2 within a reasonable time after the Draw Date or any subsequent draw by direct message via the social media platform where the Prize Draw was promoted. The Prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance and if a winner is unable to be contacted after a reasonable period or if any prize is unclaimed or declined within a reasonable period, the prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and a supplementary winner may be drawn at O2’s discretion.
6. O2 will not be responsible for any inability of a Prize winner to take up the specified Prize.
7. Unless otherwise expressly stated, where the Prize requires attendance at a specific venue, the winner and any permitted companions will be solely responsible for travel to and from the venue and all other expenses. O2 assumes no responsibility and is not liable for any costs, charges or expenses which winners may be required to pay at any time in connection with a Prize.
8. O2 reserves the right to provide substitute prize(s) of similar value should the specified prize(s) become unavailable for reasons beyond its control. Cash or credit alternatives will not be offered. None of the prizes are transferable.
9. O2 accepts no responsibility for incorrectly completed, lost or delayed entries, notices, acceptances, tickets or other documents related to the Prize(s).
10. In the event of fraud, abuse, and/or an error affecting the proper operation of this Prize Draw, including the allocation of more prizes than are available, O2 reserves the right to end or suspend the Prize Draw; amend these Terms; declare void the notification of winner(s); and/or to allocate available prizes by conducting a simple draw from all wrongly allocated winners.
11. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
12. By entering into this competition, each participant acknowledges that winner(s) may be required to participate in publicity connected with this competition and should they win, each participant hereby agrees to their name, country of residence and picture being made publicly available as part of this competition on the O2 social media platforms. The name of winner will be published on our social media channels and it is a condition of entry that you agree to your name being made publicly available if you win.
13. The names of the major winner(s) may be obtained by sending a signed handwritten request along with a stamped self-addressed envelope detailing your request to the Marketing Team, Telefónica O2 UK Limited, 500 Brook Drive, Reading, RG2 6UU, and marked with the name of the Prize Drawn.
14. Winner’s entry, name, photos and videos may be used for promotional purposes including for display on the O2 social media channels. Be aware that O2 will be taking photographs and potentially filming during this trip event. By accepting the Prize as a winner, you agree to the following statement:

‘I give permission for O2 to use, in connection of this competition only, my name, quotations from me, and photographs or films taken of me by O2 on the O2’s promotional material and publications, where suitable.’

15. Entrants’ personal information will be collected, stored and processed for the purposes of administering and assessing this Prize Draw and for publicity activities connected this competition. We will only use your personal information in line with applicable data protection legislation (including but not limited to General Data Protection Regulations) and subject to our Privacy Policy. We will not pass on your personal information to third parties except in accordance with these terms and conditions or where they are required to disclose that information in order to comply with any legal or regulatory requirements. ln order to facilitate and organise the trip, your personal information will be shared with our agency Bompas & Parr Studio Ltd. By participating to this competition, you are confirming that you understand our Privacy Policy.
16. O2’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. O2 reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the promotion and/or review and revise these Terms at any time without giving prior notice and by continuing to take part in the promotion subsequent to any revision of these Terms, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.
18. This promotion is governed by English Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
19. The promoter of this Prize Draw is Telefonica UK Limited, 500 Brook Drive, Reading, RG2 6UU (“O2”).
