• DATA ROLLOVER: New and upgrading O2 customers on a Pay Monthly Plus Plan or Ultimate Plan (phone, tablet, or SIM only) can make the most of any unused data each month as it will now roll over to their following months’ airtime allowance.*
  • LATEST HANDSETS: The perk applies to plans featuring the latest handsets, such as the new Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge – priced at £55.68 for 50GB of data on a 36-month Pay Monthly Plus Plan contract.
  • PERKS OF BEING AN O2 CUSTOMER: All O2 customers get free access to Priority from O2, O2’s exclusive customer reward programme which offers members early access to tickets to thousands of nationwide gigs and events plus millions of free rewards and giveaways.**
  • ROAM AT NO EXTRA COST: O2 is the only major mobile network to offer inclusive EU roaming as standard – Pay Monthly Plus Plan and Ultimate Plan customers can use their minutes, data and texts at no extra cost in more than 75 destinations (up to 25GB).***
  • MULTISAVE: O2 customers can also enjoy extra value on top of data rollover, Priority and inclusive EU roaming, with 20% off the airtime plan of every new eligible Pay Monthly connection they add to their account, or by adding other O2 numbers to their Multisave group.

Starting today (Thursday 5 June 2025), new and upgrading O2 customers who choose a Pay Monthly Plus Plan or Ultimate Plan will benefit from an automatic roll over of any unused data from their main airtime allowance, giving them a second chance to use it the following month.

The addition of data rollover on selected plans will provide customers with even more freedom and flexibility to keep connected and entertained without worrying about running out of, or wasting, data. For example, if a customer on an eligible plan has a 50GB data allowance but only uses 30GB, the remaining 20GB will roll over** – giving them 70GB to use at no extra cost the following month. If they then use 60GB of that data, no additional rollover applies, and their tariff will reset to the customer’s standard monthly allowance (in this case 50GB) for the next cycle.

Christian Hindennach, Chief Commercial Officer at Virgin Media O2, said: “We understand the need for flexibility – life is not always predictable – which is why we are always looking to evolve our plans and perks to meet life’s shifting needs. Data rollover is the latest benefit we are bringing to O2 customers to help keep them connected and entertained when they need it the most – at no extra cost.

“Data rollover joins a host of other value enhancing benefits O2 customers can enjoy. From inclusive EU roaming, to 20% off airtime costs with Multisave, and a huge range of experiences and rewards on Priority, we’re committed to enriching life’s most important moments for our customers.”

Both Plus Plans and Ultimate Plans from O2 offer customers extra value, benefits and savings, such as additional destinations to roam in (more than the standard 49 destinations), a three-year mobile phone warranty and the ability to Switch Up, a perk that allows customers to switch their handset for any new phone of their choice, every 90 days*. Plus Plan customers can enjoy up to £350 worth of added benefits over their contract period, whilst the Ultimate Plan offers customers over £1,000 worth of extras.

The perks and savings don’t stop there. All O2 customers get access to Priority from O2 – the award-winning customer reward programme – offering the chance to save up to £500 per year***.  Through Priority, members can get access to exclusive rewards, unique experiences and daily treats, as well as 48-hour early access to thousands of nationwide gigs and events, through Priority Tickets.

O2 customers can also benefit from Multisave and enjoy 20% off the airtime plan of any new eligible Pay Monthly Plan added to their account, or by adding other O2 numbers to their Multisave group – ideal for friends and families looking to save little bit extra on their mobile plans. For example, if a customer adds a new eligible Pay Monthly connection that has an airtime plan costing £16 a month, they’ll get a £3.20 monthly saving, bringing the cost of their airtime plan down to £12.80 a month.
