The brand-new Samsung Galaxy S24 range is now available from O2 on a Custom Plan or Plus Plan, offering complete flexibility so customers can select how much they pay upfront and a contract length that works best for them.
With more than 30% of UK consumers having owned their smartphone for more than three years¹ – an increase of more than a fifth year on year – O2 is offering a network-first handset contract length of 48-months on the new Samsung S24 range until 6th March 2024, helping customers to extend the lifespan of their device and benefit from a more affordable monthly price should they wish to.
On a 48-month Custom Plan O2 customers wanting the new Samsung Galaxy S24 256GB handset could enjoy it with 30GB of data from just £45.82 a month or could get the new Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus with 30GB data from £50.19 a month. With O2’s flexible tariffs, customers have the option to flex their data allowance up or down every month to suit their needs, so their mobile plan always works for them and their budget.
Christian Hindennach, Chief Commercial Officer at Virgin Media O2 said: “We know how excited our customers will be to get their hands on the new Samsung Galaxy S24 range, so we’re adding to the perks available from O2 by offering the option of an interest-free 48-month contract to help make their monthly repayments a little more manageable. From inclusive EU roaming at no extra cost, to exclusive perks and rewards with Priority from O2, and now even more flexibility to make their mobile plan work for them, we’re always looking to give our customers more value for their money.”
Kester Mann, Director of Consumer and Connectivity at CCS Insight said: “O2’s new 48-month contracts will be welcomed by the growing number of customers seeking longer-term deals due to the ongoing squeeze on household budgets. Recent research from CCS Insight shows accelerating demand for mobile plans beyond the traditional two-year timeframe as financial constraints push people to take out more flexible deals spread over a longer period.”
