Burna Boy to play a free priority gig for just 2,000 fans at O2 Forum Kentish Town on 16 July

GRAMMY® AWARD-WINNING ICON WILL PLAY A FREE PRIORITY GIG FOR JUST 2,000 FANS AT O2 FORUM KENTISH TOWN ON 16 JULY.

O2 has today announced that the GRAMMY® Award-winning superstar, Burna Boy, will play an exclusive Priority gig for fans on Wednesday 16 July at O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. Tickets to the show will be FREE and made available exclusively to O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers.

O2 presents… Burna Boy is a rare chance to see the icon perform to an intimate crowd of approximately 2,000, and one of his first live performances following the release of forthcoming album No Signs of Weakness (out 11 July).

Widely credited as a trailblazer in the Afro-fusion genre and for bringing its music to a global stage, Burna Boy’s 2019 album African Giant propelled the artist to superstar status and its successor, fifth studio album Twice As Tall, won Burna Boy his first GRAMMY® Award.

Paving the way for a generation of artists has come naturally to Burna Boy ever since. In 2023, the Nigerian star became the first African artist to headline a stadium in the UK after selling out London Stadium. The same year, he became the first ever international Afrobeats artist to secure a UK number one album with I Told Them…

At his exclusive O2 presents… Burna Boy show on 16 July, fans can expect to enjoy the biggest Burna Boy hits as well as material from forthcoming album No Signs of Weakness, all at an iconic venue which has previously hosted famous nights of live music from artists such as Oasis and Rihanna.

Burna Boy is the latest artist to play his own O2 presents… gig at an intimate O2 venue in the UK, completely free for fans. He follows the likes of Kylie Minogue, Girls Aloud, D-Block Europe and RAYE who have all played their own at O2 Academy venues around the country as part of the series.

O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers have the chance to win a pair of tickets for FREE through a ballot on Priority, which opens today (23 June) and closes on Wednesday 4 July. Priority members can enter the ballot via the Priority app or website.
