Virgin TV is excited to announce that it is bolstering its family and kids’ entertainment offering by adding two new exclusive channels, Love Nature HD and ZooMoo HD.

Both channels, owned and operated by Blue Ant Media, have animals and nature at its core and have a wide range of diverse shows and content to suit all ages.

Love Nature HD gets closer than ever before to some of the world’s most incredible landscapes and wildlife. Not only does the channel celebrate the beauty and wonder of the natural world, it also provides hundreds of hours of original and never seen before feature programmes broadcast in the highest quality for all of the family to enjoy.

Some of its hit shows include: Arctic Secrets which journeys to the most remote Arctic landscapes, populated with unique animals and plants that have adapted to survive in the harshest climates on the planet; Guardians of the Wild, a series from Love Nature’s celebrated Camp Zambia production project with Plimsoll Productions, follows the day-to-day challenges facing conservationists and scientists working in the Zambian wilderness; and Wild Birds of Australia introducing Australia’s 90+ bird species that are entirely endemic to the country.

New to the channel this August is Reef Wrecks, an exploration of some of the 3 million shipwrecks across the world which have been taken over by nature and are now home to their own unique ecosystems.

ZooMoo HD is an educational experience for children aged between 3-6 years-old and consists of more than 1500 self-contained shows. These feature spectacular wildlife footage with a range of puppetry, animations, and narrative techniques to create a unique viewing and learning experience for little viewers.

Both Love Nature HD and ZooMoo HD are available to Virgin TV Full House customers and can be viewed in high-definition on channel 293 and 739 respectively from Saturday 21 July.

ZooMoo can also be watched through the Virgin TV Kids app and is the latest addition to the app, which launched last summer, and allows children to safely watch some of the most popular shows around as well as read books and play games.

David Bouchier, Chief Digital Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media, said: “Wildlife and nature programmes continue to prove popular with viewers of all ages so we are delighted to add Love Nature and ZooMoo to Virgin TV. Both will be available in glorious HD so customers can feel even closer to nature. These new additions highlight our continued investment and commitment to our customer base by adding more exciting entertainment to Virgin TV for all the family to enjoy.”

Ward Platt, CEO, Kids & Global Networks, Blue Ant Media: “Our partnership with Virgin TV to debut Love Nature and ZooMoo channels in the UK and Ireland is critical to our global expansion as the company will introduce millions of new natural history fans to our stunning programming shot in some of the most beautiful and wondrous locations in the world. Blue Ant Media’s Kids & Global Networks division is under a year old, our launch on Virgin TV and upcoming international expansion of our channels in 2018 truly showcases the strength of our brands and their programming.”
