As a thank you to O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers, for the first time ever, Priority from O2 is giving members the chance to win £10,000. The prize draw, which is accessible exclusively via the Priority app, will be open from Friday 23rd January until Monday 23rd February.
In what is a first-of-its-kind giveaway since the reward programme launched in 2009, Priority is offering members the chance to kickstart the year with one of its biggest rewards to date. For the chance to win, members simply need to head to the Priority app and enter by Monday 23rd February.
This comes as new research by Virgin Media O2 found that half (50%) of Brits have already spent their December wages, with two-thirds (66%) confessing that their next payslip “can’t come soon enough”.
The study also found that the nation is entering a period of financial hibernation following excessive spending over the festive season. The average Brit spent £315 on going out in December, with a quarter (24%) spending more than £500 socialising with friends. As a result, Brits say they need to save an average of £230 more than a typical month this January in an attempt to balance the books, with a fifth (22%) aiming to save £400.
