London, Wednesday 12th October: From today until 25 October, Virgin Media is giving its TV customers access to 15 premium Asian TV channels – at no extra cost – so they can celebrate Diwali from the comfort of their own home.
Over the past two years Virgin Media has made a number of TV channels available to its customers at no extra cost, helping to keep households entertained during Covid-19 pandemic and providing extra value to customers during the cost of living crisis.
The TV channels included are part of Virgin Media’s Asian Mela bundle which normally costs £12 per month and offer customers hundreds of hours of content.
Fans of reality TV can sink their teeth into popular celebrity shows like Bigg Boss, the Indian version of Endemol Shine Group’s hit format show Big Brother, or the Indian version of Dancing with the Stars, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, both available on Colors. Customers can also tune into SONY TV HD to watch Indian Idol, celebrated for introducing the world to stars such as Neha Kakkar and Monali Thakur.
For customers who fancy some comedy, don’t miss the new season of The Kapil Sharma Show on SONY TV HD, where Kapil Sharma is joined by special celebrity guests each week. Or if big budget action is more up their street, customers can watch India’s third highest-grossing film ever, K.G.F: Chapter 2 on SONY MAX starring Yash, Sanjay Dutt and Raveen Tandon.
The offerings don’t stop there. The much-loved Indian drama, Anupama airs on Utsav Plus starring Rupali Ganguly as Anupama and follows the life of a devoted Gujrati housewife to explore her fight for self-respect, dignity and pride to set out to live life on her own terms.
