LONDON, August 2025: As excitement builds for Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 – which commences on Friday 22nd August and will be hosted on home turf in England – Official Partner O2 is offering fans a new way to get behind the Red Roses; delivering a world-first, AI generated team talk of support.

Created by the voices of real people across the country, ‘Voice of a Nation’ offers fans the chance to show their support like never before. Members of the public can submit their own voice note via a dedicated WhatsApp channel, with each message then collated using an advanced AI technology system, which has been developed in collaboration with The 5Gs – a specialist creative agency built to design unique 5G and tech initiatives – and transformed into a single, unified message showcasing the varying ages, demographics, and accents that make up the nation, capturing the collective ‘voice’ of the UK.

With famous voices including reality star and TV Presenter and Podcaster Vicky Pattison and TV presenter Olivia Attwood already enlisted to share their message of support, O2 is calling on members of the public to get involved bysimply recording a voice note on WhatsApp and sending it to 07851317242. Fans from grassroots rugby clubs will also be invited to submit their messages of support. Whether it’s a word of encouragement, a memory, a chant, or just heartfelt pride in how it feels to ‘Wear the Rose’, every single voice will help to bring fans and the team closer than ever before, as England cheers on the Red Roses in a bid to help carry them over the line.

Members of the public who submit a voice note will also be entered into a ballot for the chance to win a VIP experience at the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 final on Saturday 27 September including hospitality tickets, personalised merchandise and more, courtesy of O2.

The audio will be enhanced using techniques like noise reduction, upscaling and remapping to ensure even compressed voice notes can be transformed into high-quality sound. AI will also help layer and blend the unique voices to create a powerful, emotive final piece – all with human oversight in place to ensure quality, clarity and authenticity.

O2 will transform raw fan emotion into a living, breathing rallying cry: voiced by the nation, felt by the players. For the first time, supporters won’t just be heard, they’ll be part of the story, with the rallying cry shown directly to the Red Roses before they take to the pitch.

Gareth Griffiths, Director of Partnerships and Sponsorship at Virgin Media O2, said: “The Red Roses are the number one team in the world, and with this years’ tournament hosted in England, we want to show the team that the entire nation is cheering them on. Sport is about so much more than the game, it’s about the energy, community and connection. That’s why O2 is creating this unique, AI powered team talk to showcase voices from real fans across the country and to call on the public to Wear the Rose, get behind the team and send in their own message of support.

“Using pioneering technology, together we will build something that creates a deeper and more personal connection between fans and players. This is about amplifying human connection on a scale never seen before and enabling the team to truly hear – and feel – O2 and the country’s messages of support and pride.”

Zoe Aldcroft, England Women’s Rugby captain: “This is such an exciting moment, not just for us as a team, but for fans across the country. To know that thousands of voices will come together to create one rallying cry is incredibly powerful. It’s unlike anything we’ve seen before in sport, and I can’t wait to hear what it sounds like.”

“Having a home Women’s Rugby World Cup is already special, but to have that wave of support turned into something we can actually hear and feel makes it even more meaningful.”

Oliver Kibblewhite, Founder of The 5Gs said: “This unique approach allows us to amplify the passion of The Red Roses fans, giving voice to their support in a moment of true unity, with AI technology giving us the ability to represent them all. This broad and in-depth synthesis now possible through harnessing frontier AI technology brings to life the voice of a nation, cheering the Red Roses on to bring the Women’s Rugby World Cup trophy home.”

Priority members can win tickets to watch the Red Roses in action via the Priority app.
