London Borough of Camden – home to the Camden Catacombs, The Roundhouse and London Zoo. Since March 2012, however, Camden’s also been the home of some of the Britain’s brightest digital start-ups. And yours could be next.

Wayra, part of Telefónica’s global digital start-up accelerator program, nurtures the best projects that’ll boost the future of digital business, and they’re recruiting right now.

This year’s projects will join around 35 other new recruits across Wayra’s 14 academies in 12 countries around the globe. They’ll be the latest of almost 300 businesses who have already benefitted from Wayra’s support worldwide – support which offers funding, workspace and expert advice.

The way it works is simple: in return for for a 7-10% equity stake, your digital startup will receive the equivalent of up to €40,000 in funding, access to the Wayra Academy – a state-of-the-art workspace, and the potential to market your products to around 350million Telefónica customers across the globe.

You’ll also gain access to something that money can’t buy – the expert knowledge of Telefónica’s mentors, giving advice on everything from marketing & PR to engineering & programming. Add that to a list of potential contacts who could offer your business a world of opportunity, and it’s pretty clear that when you’re part of the Wayra family, you’re part of something special.

But to be part of something so special, you need to be something special. With up to 20 UK places on offer in this call, we’re looking for the most innovative & disruptive ideas, a solid business model and, perhaps most importantly, a team who are completely committed to seeing their business achieve its full potential.

You’ve got until 20 October to get your application in, so don’t hang about. If you think you’ve got what it takes to become part of the world’s largest start-up family, stop reading this post and start your Wayra journey: Join Us.
