Tuesday 3 September at The O2 was a pretty exceptional Tuesday. Having settled in at one of the world’s most popular entertainment venues (some sleeping in tents there, some just not bothering to sleep), Europe’s campuseros descended upon the Live Quarter to show us their mettle.
Amongst the sea of geeks there were modders, hackers and gamers galore, many of whom were already hard at work (or play) – creating, innovating or simply pwning the competition.
Meanwhile, in the O2 Arena, the stages were filled with inspiration for pretty much every conceivable aspect of technology, from design and photography to E-Commerce and social media. Over on the main stage, campuseros were treated to a session delivered by Alex ‘Sandy’ Pentland – Professor at MIT and one of the world’s leading experts in computer science (click HERE for more on Sandy’s keynote).
All in all, day 2 of Campus Party Europe 2013 was a resounding success. As some headed off to their tents and some headed off to buy more energy drinks to see them through the night, The O2 was filled with anticipation about what day 3 might bring…
