2 today announces that the Samsung Galaxy Tab, Samsung’s innovative Android-powered tablet device, will be joining O2’s growing tablet range on 1 November.

The Tab, Samsung’s first tablet, runs on Google’s Android 2.2 Froyo software and gives customers the freedom to access all their content and favourite websites on the go, even those using Adobe Flash content. And with unlimited access to thousands of BT Openzone and The Cloud Wi-Fi hotspots built into all O2’s Mobile Broadband tariffs, customers will be able to use the Tab’s 7 inch touch screen to watch, surf and browse and to their heart’s content.

Staying connected with the Tab is easy thanks to its built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections while the integrated Google, Facebook and Outlook calendar means customers will always be where they need to be. Although with built in Google services like Google Maps and Google Maps Navigation it’ll never be too hard to find the next place to go.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab will be available online at www.o2.co.uk and in selected stores from Monday 1 November ‘ O2 Gurus will also be on hand in most stores selling the Tab to help customers set up their Tab and answer any questions they have about their new device.

The Tab can be purchased on all O2 Mobile Broadband tariffs and selected voice tariffs. Full pricing for the Samsung Galaxy Tab on O2 will be available before launch.
