O2 Matchday gets a glorious upgrade

Tomorrow’s a big day. England vs New Zealand in the QBE Internationals is kind of a big deal, and we’ve got something pretty big to talk about too. We’ve updated O2 Matchday to make it bigger and better. Now you can get you even closer to the action and you don’t even have to try. (Get it?)

The app, powered by 4G, now includes exclusive behind the scenes video content in the run up to the game, a live video stream of Stuart Lancaster’s post-match press conference and up to 10 in-game replays.

Still featured is the Ref!Link technology, which gives a live feed from the ref’s mic, directly to your phone (as long as you’re not in the stadium). Plus, use your second screen to keep your finger on the pulse of the game, with a live commentary streamed live from Twickenham, along with a social feed to track what key rugby commentators are saying about the action.
