The web elves have been hard at work behind the scenes, making O2‘s websites even better, and optimised for your mobile’s screen. The latest pages to get the mobilisation treatment are O2 Store Locator and O2 Recycle. Read on to see what’s new!
O2 Store Locator does exactly what you’d expect, but instead of looking up by town or postcode through a desktop browser, you can now use your mobile to pinpoint the nearest O2 Shop!
Just fire up your mobile’s web browser, and head to O2.co.uk. You’ll see the mobile-friendly version of the site, with tons to explore, but head to the bottom to find a link to Store Locator.
You can still search the old-fashioned way, or tap the “Find me!” button to use your mobile phone’s location-sensing abilities. A few seconds later, you’ll see the closest five stores listed in order.
Tap on a store and you’ll see a Google Map of its location, the address and contact numbers as well as individual store opening times, so you can time your visit perfectly.
If you’re due an upgrade soon, it’s also the perfect time to check out O2 Recycle, newly enabled for your mobile.
Head back to O2.co.uk on your mobile, and tap the link for O2 Recycle. From here you’re a few short taps away from seeing what your phone is worth. Just choose the manufacturer and model and O2 Recycle will show you what it’s worth right now.
Follow the instructions on-screen to sell your phone through O2 Recycle and you’ll receive payment by cheque, paid directly into your bank account, or you can donate it to O2's Think Big initiative.
