21st March 2019: O2 today announces that it will stock the latest flagship smartphone from Samsung, the Galaxy S10 5G, when it launches later this year.

5G on the Galaxy S10 5G will introduce hyper-fast streaming and download speeds, powerful mobile hot-spotting, 4K video calling and an elevated mobile gaming experience.

To take full advantage of 5G connectivity, Galaxy S10 5G features the largest-ever display on a Galaxy S series device, a 6.7-inch Infinity-O Display; 3D Depth Camera to power Live focus video and Quick Measure; and a 4,500mAh battery with Super-Fast Charging at 25W.

O2 will begin rolling out its 5G network in 2019 with customers in Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh and London being the first to benefit.

O2 will also become the only UK network operator to offer the Samsung Galaxy S10 devices – including the S10, S10+ and S10e – in the brand new colour Prism Blue1. Customers can pre-order the S10 range in Prism Blue from the 28th March, before it goes on sale in stores and online from the 4th April. The impressive 512GB memory version of the S10 in Prism Blue will also be available to purchase at launch.

With O2’s customisable plans, customers can choose how much they want to pay upfront, the length of their device plan, selecting anywhere between three and 36 months (in one-month increments), as well as having the option to flex their data allowance up or down every month to suit their needs.2

Customers on O2 Refresh who want to upgrade early from their handset need only pay off the remaining balance of their Device Plan so they don’t have to wait to get the latest phone. Plus, customers who want to keep their phone after their Device Plan finishes will only pay for their monthly airtime tariff from that point on, and will therefore never pay for a device they already own.
