BURNA BOY DELIVERS ELECTRIFYING GIG at O2 Forum Kentish Town to just 2,000 fans, days after release of new album ‘No Sign Of Weakness’

Last night (16th July), GRAMMY® Award-winning superstar, Burna Boy, played an exclusive Priority gig for just 2,000 fans at O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. Tickets to the show were made available for FREE, exclusively to O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers, via a Priority from O2 ballot.

O2 presents… Burna Boy was a rare chance to see the icon – the first African artist to headline and sell out a stadium in the UK – perform in such an intimate venue. The show came just days after Burna Boy dropped new album No Sign of Weakness and joined the likes of Drake and Vybz Kartel to play Rockstar Energy presents Wireless Festival at London’s Finsbury Park.

The Priority gig saw Burna Boy deliver a set full of new music from No Sign of Weakness as well as his biggest hits from a career spanning over a decade.

On the gig, Burna Boy commented: “Big thanks to O2 for bringing us together in London to celebrate the new album. It’s an honour to share No Sign of Weakness with the world and feel this kind of energy from my people.”

O2 presents… Burna Boy is the latest in a series of Priority gigs from O2, bringing fans closer than ever to the live music that they love. Just last month, Loyle Carnertook over O2 Academy Bristol to play an intimate gig ahead of his massive Glastonbury set, which saw him headline The Other Stage. Girls Aloud, RAYE, D-Block Europe and Kylie Minogue are amongst the other artists who have hosted their own Priority gig for fans as part of the series.
