Medium businesses combining fixed and mobile connectivity can claim tech fund valued at 10% of new contract

  • Virgin Media O2 Business has launched a brand new ‘Get More’ tech fund for new and existing medium business customers
  • Medium business customers (with 11 to 249 people) combining any Virgin Media Business internet connection with any O2 Business mobile product can now claim 10% of the cost of their new plan to put towards new tech
  • Eligible businesses can redeem their tech fund against a range of products, including smartphones, tablets laptops, desktops, and printers

London, UK – 17th May 2022 – Connectivity champion Virgin Media O2 Business today announces the introduction of its ‘Get More Fund’, helping provide medium businesses with access to valuable tech to support their digital transformation journeys. Through the Get More Fund, current Virgin Media Business or O2 Business customers that extend their contracts to take both internet connection (broadband or leased lines) and mobile products will now be able to put 10% of the value of their new plan towards a range of hardware options for their teams, from smart phones to printers. New customers that take out both internet connectivity and mobile products will receive 10% of their total monthly contract value in a ‘Get More’ fund.

The initiative is open to all organisations with 11 to 249 people across the UK, and aims to help equip medium businesses with the tech they need to work smarter in a hybrid working world – whether it’s from the office, from home or on the go. Virgin Media O2 Business customers can redeem their Get More Fund against a range of products including smartphones, tablets laptops, desktops, and printers.

To support medium businesses on their digital acceleration journeys, the ‘Get More Fund’ also provides a package of other new benefits for customers, including:

  • A free digital review, which will see Virgin Media O2 Business experts audit individual businesses’ connectivity needs and provide tailored recommendations to set them up for the future of remote working
  • Dedicated account management, with one single point of contact across all connectivity solutions to save time and unnecessary admin, and provide always-on help and advice
  • Total flexibility, giving customers a choice of new technology to suit their organisation’s specific requirements

Notes to editors

To be eligible for Virgin Media O2 Business’ ‘Get More Fund’, businesses must have between 11 and 249 people and be new to O2 Business, Virgin Media Business or both. Eligible customers must combine an O2 Business mobile service with Virgin Media Business broadband or leased lines. The value of the Get More Fund is based on 10% of the monthly airtime bill of the new plan.

For instance, if a monthly airtime bill is £250 for 24 months, the tech fund would be £600 (£25 x 24).

  • Customers new to O2 Business will receive 10% based on their O2 mobile plan.
  • Customers new to Virgin Media Business will receive 10% based on their Virgin Media broadband or leased lines plan.
  • Customers new to both O2 Business and Virgin Media Business will receive 10% off both their O2 Business and Virgin Media Business airtime bills.

The Get More Fund is available in addition to existing deals. Get More Funds can only be spent on tech items as listed.
