As the humanitarian crisis impacting Ukraine continues, we are committed to doing what we can to help those affected– whether that’s through direct donations, providing devices and data, or supporting those seeking refuge in the UK.

Today, Virgin Media O2 is outlining a series of new support measures to help refugees with their search for employment. The recruitment support package is available to anyone with refugee status who has been granted the Right to Live and Work in the UK.

The package includes an accelerated application process for a diverse mix of more than 1,000 roles located across the country. We have advisors on hand to support people in identifying which roles might be of interest and a good fit to their skills.

To further support job seekers, we’re introducing free English language lessons and medical assistance as part of our employee benefits. These benefits will be opened out and made available to all existing employees and are in addition to the range of employee benefits we already provide people who work for Virgin Media O2.

We will continue to monitor the ongoing situation in Ukraine and work closely with Government to enhance and develop these initiatives in the coming weeks and months.
