• Blue Mondays will see more than two million exclusive rewards and prizes given away to Priority members this year. Rewards will include the all-new Get on the plane with Priority’ which – every Monday – will see Priority give away £300 holiday vouchers from lastminute.com to 100 members, redeemable within 48 hours for trips anywhere in the world.
  • The weekly reward drop marks a significant refresh of Priority and is the latest way of saying thank you to O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers
  • The launch comes as a new survey[1] by Virgin Media O2 suggests that the nation is no longer treating itself or being as spontaneous as it may wish. Findings show that 66% of Brits who aren’t treating themselves often feel they can’t afford to, and almost two thirds (62%) wish they were more spontaneous – with 69% citing the state of the economy as a barrier to spontaneity.
  • All O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers have FREE access to Priority and the opportunity to enjoy millions of exclusive rewards, experiences and prizes. In 2024, members made a combined saving of over £23 million.

Virgin Media O2 is giving customers something to smile about at the start of every week with Blue Mondays – a brand-new Priority from O2 initiative, designed to thank customers for their loyalty. This marks a significant refresh of Priority and is the latest way of saying thank you to O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers and is a renewed commitment to bringing joy to customers’ everyday lives via millions of exclusive rewards, prizes, and experiences every single Monday – from Tony’s Chocolonely bars to holidays worth thousands of pounds and so much more.

As part of the Blue Mondays line-up, O2 is introducing Get on the plane with Priority, a new offering for summer 2025 that will see one hundred Priority members receive a £300 voucher, redeemable against a holiday on lastminute.com, every Monday until 30 June.  The voucher must be redeemed within a 48-hour window, so is the perfect reward for the spontaneous amongst us or those who might need a little help to make a holiday happen. The 48-hour window is a nod to O2’s famous Priority Tickets pre-sale offering, which sells over a million concert tickets to fans every year.

Other Blue Mondays exclusives include elevated ‘Monday only’ rewards – such as 2 cinema tickets at Vue for £6 or 4 for £12, allowing Priority members to save even more money on Mondays than usual via the app (the reward is available on other days of the week at 2 for £9 or 4 for £18).

With a new survey from Virgin Media O2 revealing that 66% of Brits who aren’t treating themselves often saying they can’t afford to at the moment, and 62% of us wishing we were more spontaneous (with the current state of the economy a barrier for more than two thirds), Blue Mondays will serve to both thank customers for being with O2 and Virgin Media and help members get that bit extra out of life.

Lisa Johnstone, Director, Priority, Loyalty & Reward at Virgin Media O2, commented: “At Virgin Media O2, customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re constantly finding new ways to make being a customer more rewarding.

“Priority has always been a loyalty trailblazer, and we’re continuing to innovate with initiatives like Blue Mondays — our way of showing appreciation and putting customers first. By investing in new experiences and enhanced rewards, we’re saying thank you in a way that truly matters – helping our customers enjoy the everyday alongside life’s most special moments, while getting even more value from being part of the Virgin Media O2 family.”

Since its 2009 launch, Priority has grown to become one of the most successful loyalty programmes in the UK – in 2024, Uswitch estimated that members could save almost £500 on exclusive rewards through the platform*.  That same year, members made combined savings of over £23 million.

As well as money saving rewards, O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers can also benefit from Priority Tickets which provides access to tickets to some of the hottest gigs and shows in the UK, 48 hours before general release. Last year, O2 sold over 1.5 million tickets to Priority members to shows ranging from Dua Lipa and Usher to Peter Kay.

The rewards don’t stop there. O2 customers can also enjoy access to premium mobile initiatives including inclusive EU roaming as standard up to 25GB, meaning they can travel abroad via Get on the plane with Priority and use their phone just like they would at home (when travelling to one of 49 European destinations).

All O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers can join Priority for free – they simply need to head to the Priority app every Monday to enjoy unmissable rewards and experiences.
