Virgin Media Essential Broadband
Virgin Media’s Essential Broadband packages offer a more affordable way to get online for people receiving Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Income-Related Employment and Support Allowance, Income-Based Jobseeker’s Allowance or Income Support.
Essential Broadband gives you a basic connection for day-to-day browsing with average download speeds of 15Mbps for £12.50 a month.
If you’ve a bigger household, Essential Broadband Plus serves up average download speeds of 50Mbps for £20 a month. You can also add Stream from Virgin Media, our new streaming TV service with no monthly cost and a reduced one-off activation fee of £20.
There’s no fixed-term contract length and there won’t be any price changes while you’re receiving certain government support payments.
